The product is designed for tenant’s renting a property. As everyone's needs are different, the insurance is flexible with optional extras available like worldwide belongings, so you can tailor it to suit your individual needs and budget.

Alternative accommodation

If the home is made uninhabitable because of damage to your contents by an event covered by the insurance, the policy will cover agreed accommodation expenses, including storage of property until the home is restored to normal living conditions and any rent you are liable to pay as stated in your tenancy agreement up to £10,000, until you can move back into the home.

What may not be covered...

As with all insurance policies and optional extras, there are circumstances when cover can't be offered or a claim paid. For example, where previous insurance has been cancelled, declined, declared void or terms imposed, claims whilst the property has been unoccupied for more than 60 days in a row, and money or credit cards held in the home for business, trade or professional purposes and any accidental damage caused by pets.
